Data protection policy

Each online service limits the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary (data minimization) and is accompanied by information on :

Personal data collected in connection with the services offered on kalido-pro.com (or .com) or youkado.com (or .fr) are processed using secure protocols and allow Kalido to manage the requests received in its computer applications.

Comments

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, but also your IP address and your browser’s user agent are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After validation of your comment, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

If you are a registered user and are uploading images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images that contain EXIF data of GPS coordinates. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

Processing carried out as a subcontractor

The Platform is provided by KALIDO, as a subcontractor within the meaning of the RGPD, to the Customer, who has given you access to the Site, in its capacity as data controller.

KALIDO acts on behalf of and under the instructions of the Client.

KALIDO has taken all necessary measures to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe applicable on May 25, 2018.

In general, the information you provide, with the exception of your password which is encrypted and can never be read, is intended for use by KALIDO’s authorized personnel, acting as a subcontractor.

Your data is used for :

  • manage access to your customer account,
  • the processing and follow-up of your orders,
  • the after-sales service of the products ordered on the Site,
  • marketing and customer relationship management,
  • recovery and the fight against fraud,
  • reporting,
  • steering the segmentation and marketing selection.

 

Your personal data, with the exception of your password, may be transmitted to KALIDO’s service providers, acting as subsequent subcontractors, for the purpose of processing orders and after-sales service, as well as for the purpose of managing customer relations.

 

Some of our subcontractors are located outside the European Union. Prior to the transfer outside the European Union, and in accordance with the regulations in force, KALIDO ensures that these data transfers are secure.

 

Within the framework of KALIDO’s activities, no transfers are made outside the European Union.

 

In application of the law of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, as amended, in accordance with articles 15 to 22 of the RGPD, you have several rights that can be exercised directly within the Platform, in the « My account » section on the « My profile » page:

  • right of access ;
  • right of rectification ;
  • right to erasure ;
  • right of objection ;
  • right to request limitation of processing;
  • right to data portability;
  • right to withdraw your consent.

 

You also have the right to formulate specific or general directives concerning the conservation, deletion and communication of your post-mortem data.

You may exercise all of these rights with the data controller, the Customer, who has given you access to the Platform.

The personal data collected by KALIDO in the context of creating your Account and placing an order for products and/or services are kept for the time necessary to manage your orders and the rights associated with them (guarantees, etc.).

Some of your personal data will also be kept by KALIDO within the time limits imposed by the Customer in its capacity as data controller, or by the legislation in force in order to meet its legal obligations.

By default, and unless otherwise instructed by the Customer, KALIDO keeps your data for the following periods:

– Your Account Information:

  • 3 years from your last interaction with KALIDO for retention in active base.
  • 1 year from the end of the previous period for intermediate storage, in order to meet its legal obligations.

– Cookies and other tracers: 13 months from their deposit.

 

Some of your personal data may also be kept by our banking partner for the purpose of facilitating subsequent orders or managing any complaints: – For immediate debit cards: 13 months from the date of payment

– For deferred debit cards: 15 months from the date of payment.

    Processing carried out as a controller

    When you accept to receive commercial offers from KALIDO, the latter becomes the data controller for the processing operations resulting from your acceptance.

    The information collected on this occasion is used solely by KALIDO to send you commercial offers. The legal basis for the processing is consent.

    The data collected will be communicated only to the following recipients: – Providers of commercial prospecting messages;

    The data is kept for 3 years from your last interaction with KALIDO.

    You can access your data, rectify it, request its deletion or exercise your right to limit the processing of your data, as well as withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time.

    You can also object to the processing of your data and exercise your right to data portability.
